This fish has so many common names AFS just went with the classic, but the name that comes in second place is the Spotband Butterflyfish. Based on distinguishing features the Punctado Butterflyfish is also called the Dot Dash Butterfly and the Spot Banded Butterfly. When purchased, the fish can be named anything you want. Very hardy, maximum size is 5 inches, and the fish fits most tanks.
